Call on Imams to Join National Orange Khutbah Day 2025 This Jummah (September 26)
Written by Canadian Council of ImamsJustice For All Canada and the Canadian Council of Imams is calling all Canadian Muslim Imams and Khateebs to join the National Orange Khutbah Day on Friday, September 26th.
This Canadian-Muslim led campaign marks the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
The actual observance takes place September 30th, but the khutbah day will be the Friday prior, September 26th.
Purpose: This time of year is for Muslims to show solidarity and reflect on the legacy of genocide and injustice that our Indigenous neighbours face.
