Justice For All Canada is calling out to all of our Imams and Khateebs in this country to join the National Orange Khutbah Day on Friday, September 27th, to commemorate the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (this observance takes place in Canada on September 30th, but the khutba day will be a few days prior on September 27th).

THIS FRIDAY September 27th, join Imams and Masajid across the nation participating in the National Orange Khutba Campaign.

Imams and Khateebs can sign up to receive pre-made khutba notes online here

Orange Khutba Day commemorates National Day for Truth and Reconciliation which takes place on September 30th. Our goal is to maximize on our reach to the Muslim community and use the closest Friday to recognize the upcoming observation.

.

We encourages Muslims to remember the legacy of genocide and injustice that the original Indigenous peoples of Canada have suffered (and continue to suffer) since first contact with imperial colonizers from Europe who arrived 500 years ago.

Together, they will practice reconciliation and stand in solidarity with our Indigenous sisters and brothers.

Orange Khutba Day: Friday, September 27th
