National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) Response to Police Brutality on Student Encampment for Palestine at the University of Calgary
Written by National Council of Canadian MuslimsYesterday, Calgary Police descended on the University of Calgary to break the encampments, in scenes reminiscent of attacks on students protestors many years ago at Kent State.
It was not too long ago that CPS charged protestors with ridiculous charges that our legal team worked to have promptly dropped.
Some of the videos appear to show unjustified uses of force against peaceful student.

We also strongly condemn attacks on student protestors.
The day we see police attacking peaceful protestors on university campuses is a dark day in our history.
