1. DEAL OF THE CENTURY? ACHIEVING PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
A Public Talk
The talk examines the international consensus on a resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and how it might be achieved. Rabbani argues that no serious attempt has yet been made to achieve a two-state settlement, and they the Oslo process is essentially one to consolidate permanent Israeli domination over the Palestinians. He further looks at the arguments of one vs two states, and the purported Trump plan and its implications for Middle East peace.
