Discover why Rolling Stone named Mo Amer one of the “10 Comedians You Need to Know,” and why legendary comedian Dave Chappelle calls him “hilarious, thought-provoking and inspiring.” Known for his unique improvised conversational style, Amer shares unusual stories from his life, like how he managed to travel the world without a passport; how Bradley Cooper (unintentionally) rescued him in the Middle East; and how he ended up taking a flight with Eric Trump after a ‘randomly chosen’ seat upgrade.Mo Amer takes the stage as part of our Comedy from The Other Side of Fear series, which celebrates the courage needed to tell our truths and explores how we conquer fear through storytelling and laughter. These comedic takes on challenging issues encourage us to find their lighter side, expanding our perspective. The series stems from our 2018/19 Performing Arts season, The Other Side of Fear, featuring acclaimed artists who have transcended fear through music, dance, and spoken word. • Content may not be suitable for all audiences.BIO: Mo Amer is an ArabAmerican stand-up comic and writer of Palestinian descent, known for his work with the comedy troupe “Allah Made Me Funny.” Amer debuted his first standup special, The Vagabond, on Netflix in 2018.
