Qur'an & Nature Summer Program

As Salaamu alaykum warahmatullaah all

Please invite anyone you think would like to join the summer sessions in July and/or August.

Learn suratun Nahl through hands-on experiences
1) Learn about angling (how to catch a fish, tie bait, etc)
2) Visit an apiary to learn how bees make honey and their life cycle
3) Visit a space Observatory to learn major constellations and how to tell directions at night
4) Learn to garden at our community garden space
5) Visit the farm to observe cattle life and how wool is processed into yarn. 
6) Community service at the masjid.

This program is for ages 12-16 with shaykh Muaaz and myself

It will take place once a week (Wednesdays) from 11-3
This is July's schedule:

July 01 - Meeting at the Fred Johnson Park (3630 Kingston Rd) - pickup/drop-off location
July 08 - Farm trip to Windreach for Yarn workshop
July 15 - Off
July 22 - Gardening (3630 Kingston Rd)
July 24/25 - Stargazing
July 29 - Fishing
