We’re thrilled to mark the launching of our new Center for performance and teaching instructions studios for the performing arts in the downtown area of the city of Ottawa where community members can receive lessons and attend quality shows, concerts, and recitals put up by incredibly talented local artists.
On this night, the event will be opened by performances by from talented cellist, Olena Gapey, violinist, Alireza Tarviji and tenor, Emmanuel Solomon to usher in the cheeky and hilarious M.C./comedian of the night, Habiba Ali, popularly known in the city as Hawa Haji!
Bikkurim Studios (A Hub for the Performing Arts) was created out of the necessity for musicians and other performing artists to have the stage to thrive in their artistic endeavours whilst honing their skills in the process. The centre will be programmed with events and an operational recording studio as well as a place for music, dance and comedy education to take place meeting everyone’s needs in the community.
