International Muslims Organization of Toronto (IMO)

About IMO: The IMO is a non-profit, federally registered organization, which was established in 1977. The building is located on 3.5 acres of land in one of the major Muslim areas of the city of Toronto. The centre is easily accessible by car and public transportation, which is approximately 5 minutes away from Pearson International airport. The building is about 50,000 sq. ft. and is open for five daily prayers. The prayer areas can accommodate more than 3000 Worshippers and there are other sections, which are used for educational and social purposes. A huge parking lot for more than 200 cars surrounds the building. The organization is managed by a “board of directors” consisting of nine members. It is according to Ahlu-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah.
