Soccer League

Ottawa Islamic Soccer League (OISL), the first of its kind in the Ottawa region is proud to commence its first season in 2024.

OISL was founded with a vision to unite, gather, and strengthen the Ottawa community through love for sports. Our aim is to teach and encourage skills of soccer supported by an environment of mentorship through fellow players, coaches, referees, and managers at all levels of play. We aim to provide an active, healthy outlet for children and youth to promote social development and personal growth. OISL is a platform for boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their potential, identify their strengths, and compete for excellence while having fun.

Pre-season Training Camp (U7-U18)

Kick off the season with our high-energy training camp for players aged 7 and upโ€”designed to sharpen your skills and boost fitness before regular games begin! This pre-season program focuses on strength, conditioning, ball control, and game strategy, all led by our experienced team with support from special guest trainers. Join us for five dynamic sessions running from April 6 to May 11 as we prepare players for a successful season ahead.-๐Ÿ“… Season Duration: Sundays (April 6 - May 11)๐Ÿ•˜ Game Times: 4:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 PM๐Ÿ“ Location: Ben Franklin Superdome

Regular Season (U4 - U18)

The regular season offers a fun and competitive soccer experience for players aged 4 and up. Taking place once a week on Sundays from May 25 to September 28, 2025, each team plays a one-hour game between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Players are grouped into six balanced teams per age group and compete weekly under the guidance of certified coaches who focus on teamwork, skill development, and fair play. There are no games on holiday weekends, allowing families time to relax and enjoy the break.-๐Ÿ“… Season Duration: Sundays (May 25 - September 28)๐Ÿ•˜ Game Times: 11:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM๐Ÿ“ Location: Lytle Park

Weekly Practices (U7-U18)

This season, the Ottawa Islamic Soccer League is introducing weekly 1.5-hour training sessions for players aged 7 and up. Designed for both boys and girls, these sessions will be led by certified, high-level soccer coaches and will focus on improving technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall performance. Practices will take place once a week on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, with each age group assigned a dedicated 1.5-hour time slot. Mens League (Adult 18+)

The OISL Adult Menโ€™s League is a fun and competitive program for players aged 18 and up. Featuring four teams of 10 players, the league offers weekly matches every Friday night from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Itโ€™s a great way to stay active, connect with the community, and enjoy the game in a positive and structured environment.
