Nominations Open for 2026 Youth Ottawa 21 Under 21 Awards

Location: Ottawa, ON
Deadline: May 31, 2026

Nominate a local youth for the 2026 Youth Ottawa 21 Under 21 Awards.

Every year, these awards recognize young people across Ottawa who represent the very best of our city; youth who lead with resilience, compassion, creativity, perseverance, and purpose.

.

And importantly:
There are no categories.

We don’t believe in putting youth into boxes.

  • A nominee might be:
  • A student who overcame significant challenges
  • A young entrepreneur or artist
  • Someone quietly supporting others in their community
  • A youth leader, athlete, volunteer, creator, or advocate
  • Or simply a young person whose story deserves to be seen and celebrated

For nearly 30 years, teachers, mentors, coaches, families, youth organizations, peers; and youth themselves, have helped us identify the next generation of leaders shaping Ottawa.

  • Now We're Asking You:
  • Who comes to mind?
  • Who deserves recognition?
  • Who inspires others?
  • Who reflects the best of us?

  • Nominees must be between the ages of 14-21 as of January 1st, 2026.
