Urban Alliance on Race Relations is hiring an Arts Youth Fellowship Program Coordinator

20 HOURS/WEEK FROM OCTOBER 2025 TO JUNE 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with various program stakeholders, including placement organizations, fellows, and program supporters
  • Promote the Arts Youth Fellowship program through communications and outreach
  • Engage community stakeholders in supporting the assigned initiatives Implement a fundraising strategy to raise funds for the fellowship program
  • Recruit, coach, and support fellowship program staff and volunteers
  • Recruit, train, place, and support fellows in the fellowship program
  • Recruit and liaise with placement organizations to onboard fellows and support the program
  • Troubleshoot and address any challenges/issues faced by stakeholders
  • Identify ways to improve the experience of fellows and partners in the program
  • Recruit, assign, and engage mentors to support fellows in the program
  • Organize events to recognize and promote the fellowship program
  • Coordinate the program evaluation & assist fellows with their community projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in project management, including design, delivery and evaluation
  • Experience in working with various diverse communities, especially on youth leadership programs
  • Experience in fundraising and marketing for community development and education projects
  • Familiarity with issues impacting racialized youth and the knowledge of the various community assets and resources available
  • Understanding of anti-racism and anti-oppression framework and principles
  • Strong communication skills and social media skills
  • Experience in managing volunteers
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills

Hourly Rate: $25 per hour
