Muslim Literary Festival is amplifying & celebrating Muslim writers at our upcoming festival this Summer!

• Be aged between 18 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.

International students and other temporary residents of Canada are not eligible.

Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns and implement them.
• Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials.
• Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations, Web sites and press releases
• Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events and programs for publicity, fundraising and information purposes.
• Arrange interviews, news conferences and other media events
• Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material

Requirements

Available to work 35 hr/week
Paid $17.20/hour, 9:00 AM — 5:00 PM

Research Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Compile and design tables, charts, graphs, and summarized statistics for integration into research papers, grant proposals, and outreach reports.
• Collect, consolidate, cross-tabulate, and format data from multiple sources to prepare draft reports for supervisors.
• Assist in drafting sections of grant applications, progress reports, and summaries for funding bodies.
• Generate actionable insights and provide regular updates to management, researchers, and client groups based on data trends.
• Ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements by consolidating accurate data and maintaining thorough documentation.
