Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) is looking for an experienced, outgoing, and politically-savvy community organizer who is passionate about sharing CJPME’s campaigns with Canadians. CJPME’s mission is to enable people of all backgrounds to promote justice, development and peace in the Middle East, and here at home in Canada.

The ideal candidate is someone with significant experience in grassroots organizing, ideally with experience in Palestinian solidarity organizing. They are someone who wants to dedicate their time to building a powerful movement of Canadians to take effective political action. The successful candidate will be able to animate the pro-Palestine movement across Canada with CJPME’s organizing toolkits and training while ensuring the long-term viability of grassroots power within CJPME’s orbit.

The position requires strong skills in recruitment, volunteer coordination and development, chapter building, facilitation and training, campaigns and lobbying strategy, and advocacy. Bilingual candidates will have a distinct advantage, as part of CJPME’s constituency are unilingual Francophones.
