Founded in 2009, the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration (MRCSSI) creates a Safe Place for Muslim and Arab families, couples, women, children and men by offering integrative and intercultural family violence prevention and intervention services.

The MRCSSI has successfully engaged local Muslim and Arab community leaders as well as social service and justice agencies in working through complex family conflict and family violence issues that arise from stressors associated with immigration including pre-migration trauma as well as cultural differences.
