Contribute To Fulfill the Dream of One of the Quebec Mosque Shooting Victims: Building a Well in GuineaWritten by Chelby Daigle
A group of volunteers is crowdfunding to build a well for the village of Quebec Mosque Shooting victim Mamadou Tanou Barry. Please Contribute.
Like all of the victims of the Quebec mosque shooting, Mamadou Barry's death not only impacted his family, it crushed the dream of access to clean drinking water for his village in the West African country of Guinea. Barry was raising funds to install a 100-meter-deep well in his village, located outside of Labe, Guinea's second-largest city. However, diverse community members in Quebec City and Montreal have come together to fulfill Barry's dream by working with the l’Association des Guinéens du Québec and the non-profit Rain Drop.
Please consider supporting this initiaive by contributing financially online here.
Remember the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink” (as narrated in Ahmad).
